If you search the web you will find that the moon is slowly rotating out of the earths orbit farther away each year thus increasing earth wabble .

The moon acts as earths gyro to stablelize it's wabble thus controling climate , Tides , seasons , North & south pole possitions , without the moon earth would be in a state of pure havoc with world wide destruction as mother nature runs wild out of control .

I have yet to see an astronomical event come true. Every time the media reports an eclipse, comet, etc. I'm in the wrong part of the world. :(

My son is. We walked out to the lake to see it and it is bright and I thought it was larger than normal but not him. He was disappointed. I howled anyway and embarrassed him.

14% larger isn't all that much. think of a dollar then add 14 cents...not much is it ?
the brightness on the other hand is about 30% more, which is one reason i am up right now.

It's kind of overcast tonight here. You can see it, but with light cloud cover over it, which kind of ruins the effect.

I am too, I've seen a blood orange moon that was MASSIVE in the sky, yet no one reported anything about it... But when people actually give notice to whatever moon phases are happening, they really suck.
