check and see if you have something we in the states call the "lemon Law" she may need to get legal advice about it but it sounds like the 10 days will be what is going to help her. if nothing else have her tell the shop she bought it from, she will go to the media[ TV news] and expose them as the crooks they are, and then no one would buy from them. I would make a lot of noise to who ever will listen. tell the shop she will stop if they pay to fix it. its probably not very likely they will do it, but its worth a try. <br />
she is probably not the only one they have done this to.

It was bought as a second hand car. I don't think there was a warranty no. The Ford garage are saying, as the wiring is so messed up (they said it would cost £2500 to repair), it should never have been sold
