Figure out how much it will cost for you to rent a truck for however many miles. Then compare that to a moving company.Don't forget to account for if you want to do the labor.

I think I would depend on where your moving. Is it far away not to long of a travel to decide on what kind of movers Lethbridge to get. I have had great service from both. I think it just depends on your situation.

I'd say it depends on how much stuff you have. If you can get it all in a standard U=Haul truck, go for it, but if not, it's probably better to have a moving company do it.

Moving straight from one location to the other one is the best thing to do because when they unpack things to store them then things get lost or broken. Even delaying one day they will unpack and store your stuff and that is when thing can be lost or stolen. Mover professional movers generally do no scratch or damage your stuff as much as you with your friends will.

If you hire a moving company make sure you don't let the truck out of your sight once your stuff gets in it. My parents learned about that the hard way.

It depends on how much you have to move, and if you feel comfortable operating the U-Haul truck. We moved using a U-Haul, and found it to be much cheaper and very practical.
