    Like to the point where it could cure it? I'm not sure if counseling can do as much as some forms of therapy.

    depends on the counselor...behavioral therapy may work for you...i found that therapy and drugs helped me immensely.

    I don't have an experience with counseling but I do have experience with SA. I think it could help you with coping strategies. It could be empowering too. But I wouldn't really know. I've seen documentaries about SA and counseling seems to help those people, I've never wanted to do it because I don't like dealing with people very much even if those people are counselors trying to help.
