Problem is not so simple, however, you do not sound like a coffee addict in any traditional sense of the word addict.
You are drinking 250 ml x 3 for 750 ml of coffee in a day. Now most of the people here are drinking American coffee. From what little you write you are drinking coffee out of vending machines and I believe only in a few places in America is Japanese canned coffee sold. So you are drinking coffee about twice if not thrice the volume of caffeine.
I drink usually 500 ml x 2 or 3 and I like my family in Japan am a minor nutcase in that I roast my coffee fresh each day and use levels just slightly above the average Japanese kissaten.
I am not sure caffeine can be classified as a truly addictive substance, but the real question I think you are asking is "Am I drinking too much coffee for my kidneys and adrenal glands, which rest on top of your kidneys and produce adrenaline and can occasionally get stressed from too much coffee.
So how do you sleep at night?
How dragging do you feel when you wake?
I am guessing you are under 18, so most important do you EVER get 10 to 12 hours sleep?
Do you ever feel jittery and have an empty feeling about an hour after drinking your third cup of coffee?
If you answers are Well, no, no, no then you are fine.
You mainly want to look at the first and last. If you are having trouble falling asleep and feel jittery, you might want to take a week or two off and see what you feel.
If there is pain along the upper rim of your eyes (liver in Chinese medicine) then you have been drinking a bit too much coffee for your body.
Drink or eat some ginseng (the black extract from Korean that is like a goo and comes in small bottles shaped like an amphora is the best by far) and take a week or two off drinking coffee.
Then once or twice a year take a break for a week and drink ginseng.
Are you by any chance from Japan?

I think it depends on whether you drink it because you like it or because you NEED it.

I suppose it depends on how big the cups are. I have one cup in the morning but its big and holds close to three normal cups I think.

No I think if you drink about 10-15 cups a day that would be classed as addiction.
