Is Flight getting too DANGEROUS?

Yes it is, there are more passengers and less new planes. In this financial crisis, no companies would like to throw away old planes.
Other means of transportation suffer the same conditions. Perhaps, it is time to reduce bodily movement and increase spiritual communication. We will also do some cycling in the neighbouhood to strengthen the body and to meet old people with the new way of learning and thinking.

While I must admit that I have no research to back up my claim here, I think it's more to do with how aircraft disasters are being reported. It would be interesting to compare the number of plane crashes to the number of successful commercial and recreational flights.

lol... I live in New Jersey... I have a FAR greater chance of getting killed on the NJ Turnpike on the way to the airport than I do of getting killed in the plane after I get there. The only reason it seems so is there have been a fairly large number of incidents in the media lately. Statistically speaking 'heavier than air' accidents are almost non-existent compared to how many flights there are each day. There were 50,000 people severely injured or killed in automobile accidents in the USA alone in 2006, but there were less than 700 people severely injured or killed in airplanes in the entire world that year.

Well as far as ocean faring ships-we must then watch for the pirates!!! Flights are getting more dangerous my friend.
