I think forgiveness is something inherent inside us, but it takes alot to be able to let something go; when we lose something or someone, we feel that pain, and feel the ache of losing an attachment that goes with it. Eventually, I think when we're tired of the pain, we start to consider that forgiveness is the better way of living.
