Not if it's just out of boredom, or because you like babies.
The cost as many are saying, must come into it.
But there are also things we cannot quantify, the love you have to offer, a stable home, a healthy upbringing.
You don't mention your partner's view?
A large family, which I suppose four children is nowadays, may mean financial sacrifice, a home which can never look perfect, and a lot of noise.
But you sound inclined to go for it- so happy baby-making!

If you have the means and capability to support them and care and love them, by all means, go for it. I have none and only wish I had gotten the opportunity to have a family like that.

If you have the time, patience, money and space for them, then there is nothing wrong with it.

hahaha, yep agree with durb.
here in Aus, you get a handot for each child you have and you get more money each fortnight just for looking after them.
have as many as you can handle, if its working, use it.

Do what you want to do, as long as all your children, your partner and yourself are all happy and loving and always fed

This will depend on a number of things - your family's finance's, you & your husband's feelings and ability to cope with 3 or 4 children.

But you should also think forward because little children do grow and need more space and can become more difficult for parents to manage well.

If your finances are not good or your relationship with your husband / children is strained - it's probably not a good idea.

Otherwise, do what feel right.

I would say 4 is better then 3 because it makes the numbers even. If you go to an amusement park everyone has someone to ride with them. :) But it does kinda depend how old your youngest is.

I have four children as well. Ages 16, 18, 22, 24 -- They are the loves of my life and I wish now I would've had another. I'm 52 and no Grandchildren yet but just think of the joy later in life....
Good luck to you,

OMG Yes!! 4 Kids is too many!!! At that point you have then DOUBLED yours and your "husbands" places on this earth and there is already a problem of over population! It may not be a problem in your area BUT it's a problem on this earth (which there is only a certain amount of space of) Think of it this way... You would be denying your other 3 kids that little bit more of you, just because you wanted. How selfish!

If you really need our feedback to make such a huge decision, then I'd say don't have another one. If you're just curious about how other people feel, and you KNOW you can support another one (financially and emotionally) then go for it, and all the best to you and your family!
