    Every network has tactical things they do to boost their exposure. For example NBC has one of the best demographic profiles of adults 18-49 (the most important demo to advertisers) because they went into college campuses (those with a higher cost too) and solicited their demo profile from that.

    The average Fox News viewer is a white senior citizen. They literally can't improve their ratings much because they simply don't appeal to other demographics, but the cheaper restaurants can keep the seniors coming back by playing the crap.
