Is getting a tattoo a sin ? for does who have tattoos why did you choose to get it?
i am a Christian and i want to get a tattoo on my forearm. The tattoo is a symbol from my tribe which are thee Ashanti. The symbol stands for "God is King". I was also going to find a way to add my family member's names in it so they are always close to me. Should i get it?

According to the bible it is, but hey, the book also mentions keeping slaves so I wouldn't take it seriously.

To get one or not is something you have to decide for yourself. Since you mention you are a Christian - I assume you are asking if there is anything in the Bible regarding tattoos - there is. Leviticus 19:28 and I believe somewhere in the new testament there is another scripture as well but I have since forgotten where and what it is. Think well before you have it done - simply because it is for the most part permanent and even though removal is an option - it never looks the same.

Yeah sounds cool. I would if you want it. I Chose to get mine for personal reasons of things that happened in my life. LIke remembrance of my girlfriend who died and other things.
