i wish they'd put that issue to rest already. What does Mr. Trump have to gain by making such audacious claims? What a ***** . . . like we didn't already know. Why do this now, instead of after the election, or six months ago, or one year?

Look at the Donald's hair. It needs to be seen.

He reminds me of another hot-headed Donald. At least that one was funny when he got mad.

Charity isn't about deals where both sides profit, but for those that truly are in need. Trump should pay that amount voluntarily to a charity without expecting something in return or seeking the attention. Exposing the president is one thing but doing it by means of a ‘good’ intention just seems wrong.

If it were me I'd let the World know my darkest secrets to help a charity with $5MM. It's obviously timed to hurt Obama which is the point. But really - the info contained on University entrance and passport applications is very basic. So if Obama let's this one hang it will seem suspicious to everyone including his caucasian mother. :)

If it were you or me, I'd say yes. And I totally agree Obama shouldn't have anything to hide for something for basic. What I don't agree is how charity is being used and the way the carrot is being dangled .. But then again this is politics, what do I know about it!

For me, I have nothing to hide, so sure. But I would really be looking sideways at the creep making the offer.

If giving that money would truly make Trump happy, then he should write the check anyway even after Obama ignores him.

No doubt Trump gives lots of mone to charity. But what about the Wiz of 'O? Here's his big chance to do a lot of good...he just has to get a little bit of photocopying done. I'd let the World know every dark part of me to do the kind of good $5MM would bring. Hide or not.

The President shouldn't be extorted, no matter if it was Obama or Romney. I can't see Reagan forking over his passport application just because someone offered to make a donation. Trump is just doing his ******* of the week impersonation.

why do you have to divulge any personal info to make a charitable donation. People do it anonymously all the time.
If an organization wants personal info about you for you to donate to THEM.....something is wrong

Trump's no organization. I'd give $5MM to an international orphanage charity in a heartbeat for the world to know all my mistakes. The good that money could do.....

I don't know why you mentioned Trump but whatever. Like I said, which I guess you missed. Any charity that wants personal info for a donation is a red flag

    1) He probably has lots more money than me and would give it to charity anyway. 2) It would be demeaning to the Office of President.
