Are you there just to take up space? If so just sleep!

It would certainly be better not to. I don't know if they allow it, but I'm finding that chewing gum helps me stay awake and more alert when I have to drive distances. Sucking on mints or hard candies might help, too. I also repeated in my head whatever a teacher said to fill the time in between their sentences. It reinforced the information and also helped keep me awake. Good luck!

It's bad in general to fall asleep during class. I know I've done it many times but sometimes you can't resist. Sine subjects are boring to you and there are times you just didn't have enough sleep.
I bet you are feeling guilty! But what can you do? You can try be better about it next time with coffee or something.Like (1)

I'd say so - you might be trying to tell the teacher something!

I once fell asleep in my old biology class and the teacher was freaked out because she once had a student fall into a diabetic coma, let's just say that I never fell asleep in her class again.

I was once aroused from slumber by a "Will the gentleman with the heavy eyelids..."in Physics.
I stopped going to that early class and still got a B. Even God isn't awake at that ungodly hour of the morning!
Good luck!
