Is it bad to never tell your parents about what's going on in your life?

I never tell them anything even if some drama is going on I just don't want to be questioned and it feels all awkward and weird.

It depends on if they take an interest in you and aren't consumed and self-obsessed with their own drama. When I was your age, the so-called adults in my life were too wrapped up in their own soap operas to worry about what the teenagers were doing. As a parent, I've always been there for my kids and have always had a good open line of communication with both my son and daughter, and we hang out and talk about things all the time. So, it really depends on how genuinely interested your parents are in you and your life.

If they actually care, don't shut them out. Obviously, you aren't going to tell them everything, and I'm sure my kids don't tell me everything. However, not all kids have parents who care, so be grateful for that and talk to them sometimes. They may surprise you and have some good feedback for you.

look, youre still finding your feet as an adult and maybe you just dont want to rely on them as much. its not a bad thing, as long as you arent doing anything really stupid

I surely don't get shoved off as hormones or exaggeration well if you tell your children to always come to you to talk but you shun them away with that kind of disrespect and apathy then you should've just kept your mouth shut.
