Is it common for mildly autistic people to have a lot of friends?

Can they still have good social skills and many friends despite people saying that autistic people usually find it difficult to interact socially with others?

Autism can manifest itself in different ways. Some people with mild autism are quite good at socializing...or at least do so with an average amount of ease.

yes. Autism is a massive spectrum. Everyone has it just some more than others. My son is on the big end of it and he will have to be looked after all his life. I have Attention deficit disorder which is also on the spectrum and I lead a great life with lots of friends.
