As long as you're independant, getting an education, and doing this for yourself (whether it's modeling/singing/jobcorps/something of that sort), then go ahead and do it. It will be exhilarating, scary, and empowering all at once. You will have ups and downs. As long as you are not selling yourself short, do not hold yourself back. Make a life for yourself in this crazy world and love it-I wish you luck!

no, totally cool-following your dream. It may be hard at times when you miss your parents, but really follow your dream! You will always regret it, if you don't.

may i just say that although i am still in highschool, i have practically been raising my 2 little sisters and even my older brother who acts like a kid sometimes. my mom works in florida and only comes home one day a week, and my dad is always at work and i only see him when he's sleeping before school. i do a lot for my family, and my grandparents just moved in to help out, so they really don't need me to help out anymore.

Sounds like you are very hard worker and have learned a Lot, But, It's a lot different having NO ONE to depend on. People will take advantage of you, if you need Help. Unless you have enough money to safely take care of yourself,it would be a Mistake.Save up some money First.
