I don't think that's bad at all. It means he is thinking about what he does or does not want in his life and he's thinking about how to get it. I suppose it also depends on what he's talking about. For example, if he's naming our unborn children or dividing up the house work I'd be a tiny bit overwhelmed. Him just asking where we'll be in a certain amount of time wouldn't bother me though.

It looks like he wants to see if you could see yourself with him in the future. In a way it is honorable because he is thinking about a future with another person when most teenage boys think about themselves. As long as he isn't creepy and stalking you then I think he is just trying to test the waters to see if you think of him in a futuristic sense.
