No, because I -always- mean it when I say it.

I did not grow up in a household where those words were said that often. I really do not remember ever hearing those words from my parents until my parents moved 3000 miles away about 5 years ago. I never felt unloved by them, it's just those words were not spoken.

I always told my kids I loved them growing up and even now when they are full grown I tell them every time I speak to them and they tell me they love me.

I only say those words when I sincerely mean them, but I use them freely with those individuals I love.

I do think there are individuals who just use those words too often when they really do not mean them and they lose their value/

i think its not hard to say some one i love you. but its very hard to prove it .. and it takes few second to say some one i love you but it needs whole life to prove them...

Yes. My mother has never said I love you to me or my brother or sisters. My dad told me he loved me a couple of times. I find it hard for me to say I love you to my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years. Strange right? He says it a lot and i just smile at him, he doesnt ever ask why i dont say it back. I just like to say it when i feel it

Its very hard for me to say 'I love you'. Even when I mean it. I'm afraid that the other person might not feel the same way, or they expect it. I fear saying it becuase to me saying 'I love you' means that you trust the other person. I dont trust anyone really, I'm scared to trust people in case I get hurt. I want to learn to trust. Then I will say "I love you'
