Not really. You should try being gay in Iran. According to President Ahmedinejad, you would be completely alone, for he says there are no gays in Iran.

SOUTH WHERE???

There is a large population of the gay and Lesbian

Community in SOUTH Australia!


THEY ARE ALSO HIGHLY EDUCATED!!

i live in the south and there is alot of gay people here but they are not accepted here so they stay hidden alot of the time. the big cities handle it a little better! i wish the whole world could just be more accepting and understanding!

I would say it probably is mainly because while I'm straight I've lived in the south and they are so conservative that it is hard enough when you aren't southern let alone gay/lesbian.

there are crummy judgmental people pretty much everywhere you go. i'm sure that there are geographical regions in which folks are less accepting than others. i think you need to decide where YOU feel most comfortable and take root there.

I think the south is the hardest place to be gay in the in the United States, but not everywhere. There are countries where it's still legal to KILL gay people.

I believe the closer you get to Canada, the more liberal thoughts become.
