being registered to a good college doesn't guarantee you got a good job in future...what most important is your knowledge, skill, communication and experience...that is what employer will weight you when you apply for job later...good college is a waste for a looser.. no matter which college you go, if you are good enough, you will be on top of your friends...appreciate the opportunity that come...

Aw, don't worry, hun. Just do your best, get high grades, impress your parents, your professors, and especially yourself. This is your chance to shine!

Of course, who wouldn't feel bad about that? It doesn't mean you are hating your friends. It just means you are disappointed for yourself.

Disappointment is very normal. Keep in mind, you get out of college what you put into it. In the past, when I was in a position to hire people and looked at the totality of the applicant.

Well, of course. But that sort of thing is far from the end of life.

It would probably make me feel a little crappy about myself, but its not about her, so I would be happy for her

It's natural to feel a little jealous, but it's what you do with your education that matters most.
