Is it normal...?

to argue with my self out loud about things i want and do not want to do? like i will try to pick out a movie and i want to watch say bambi. i will tell my self no out loud and say i do not want to watch it. i do not control what my argueing self says. this is weird isn't it? i am not sure i want the answer yet. sometimes i feel like there is another person in my body. sometimes i feel like im in someone else's body watching their life from their eyes and i talk to my other self or body to see how it is doing and i never know the answers i will give myself.

ok, is this weird?

bambi was as good as ever mesaage acheived. i watch it all lot i quote thumper all the time "am thumper, thats why they call me thumper *echos* thats why they call me thumper. THUMPER *echoes* THUMPER. WEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Some possible choices. You are a audio person and just working out a problem verbally helps you to ***** the different sides of an issue. Also you maybe like some of us who are Multiple personality people. This is a sceniro that happens often for those with MPD. So for us it is normal and for people without it, it is normal sometimes. Now discuss it amoungst yourselves and decide.

Normal, as in is it common, no. Normal, as in is it healthy/okay behaviour to have, probably. Some people think outloud, this sounds like just an extension of that.

There is no such thing as Normal.
There is usual, ordinary, commonly, average etc.
No normal.Normal is a made up word by psychopaths.
But it is very usual to talk to yourself or yell to yourself or even yell or talk to things.
Like when you drop something you yell at it and call it a stupid bastard.
Also saying things out loud can give positive reinforcement to behavior changes.
Such as an Alcoholic for example, they say "I am an Alcoholic" out loud on purpose.
To positively reinforce the fact to themselves that this is true so they don't start to deny it.
Its not for anyone else's benefit in fact you could say they are talking to themselves.

I talk to myself a lot too. You're not the only one, so no, it's not weird.

I think it would be a better world if it was normal and everyone did that , then they would at least be talking things over and listening to their consciences before they commit an action.
