    No, its not crazy. One possibility: I have known a number of people who have had a great paying job but it was a job they hated. Some quit to do something they love to do instead, but at a much lower pay scale. Happiness vs Money. Its a choice to make. A great paying job that is killing you is not a good thing.

    They may have a good reason!Sexual harassment,illness or simply find that they hate the job!Many other reasons!
