i know from experience that every now and then can turn into a habit real quick. i wouldn't recommend it.

The question gives me a reminder of that idiom of viewing the world through rose-colored glasses. Isn't it good enough to just go through life for what it is without doing drugs? (Oh forget it ... I'm just and old fart who doesn't have a clue of what he is talking about) ;-)

i think some people can and some people can't.
i quit some time ago. i like nyxlilly's once-a-year idea ;) but really it depends how well you know yourself and whether you have a propensity to overuse.
(just because people ask me: i never miss alcohol but occasionally miss hallucinogens. don't need them though - can hallucinate on my own :D)

I use hard drugs once a week, it helps to keep me sane. The only problem you may have is keeping it to the once a week, or once in a while. If you can, then I say go for it....
