Depends. Is your love hurting you because he or she is treating you like crap and you choose to stay? I f so, then I think it's pathetic.

It's compassion. To suffer with others, one of the virtues of humanity. To be compassionate is a difficult thing. It hurts but you're either apathetic who knows no love or someone who knows love but gets hurt in doing so. No but I know what what you're saying.
