it is very possible.
my second husband and i, when we first got together, slept in the same bed for a few weeks before we did anything let alone seen each other naked.
my current partner and i were just friends for a couple of years before we hooked up. we lived in separate houses at the time. they would crash at my house quite often and in my bed, but we didn't do anything. we were college buddies. i lived closet to the school and local bar. what can i say.

Sure. Most couples don't have sex every single night. Siblings can share a bed due to cramped living conditions. And platonic friends of compatible genders can share a bed - although there is potential awkwardness there.
