Is it possible to do something for no good reason, in order to prove a point about doing things for no good reason?

A much deeper question then what it appears on the surface. Ok I will attempt to answer. First I will need to do some ground laying. Every action we take on earth is for selfish reasons period. Ok, I hear people already saying well that isn't true, what about Mother Theresa? Well do you think that Mother Theresa could just walk away from helping all those people and take up a corporate job somewhere. Of course not. She would be tormented by not helping people. Therefore she is driven by her own internal selfish reasons just like all of us when we do something.
OK so if you do something just to prove that you can do something for no good reason, then you are actually doing something for a reason, and that is to prove the above statement is false. But then the you have a reason so your question really is a a paradox.Like (1)
