Love happens when it happens.. It requires only minds to meet.. and not the body.
And love does not spare even those who are in a relationship called marriage, for years...Like (2)

Yes, I think sustaining it is tough though.

It sounds impossible to me but I hear about people being pen pals with people in prison and falling inlove

Yes I did once. And so did he. With someone else. About 4 times so far these last two months.

In real life...well...it's infatuation...by sight. If you actually interact then okay I GUESS that can be a delusional type of love (attachment) if you're heavily attracted to that person due to commonality, appearance, hygiene, whatever.
But online...it's missing the physical factor plus it's a masking behind the screen but the heart decides what it wants to love not you. :/Like (1)

Possibly yes... Online may be the fastest avenue for this to occur or the Movie Screen...

No, just the idea. Without the body language and mannerisms you can't be sure

People seem to fall in love easily online.

You mean online? Or do you actually mean someone you've never met in any context whatsoever?
I would think it would be difficult to fall in love with someone you have zero familiarity with. However, I can also speak from experience that it's possible to fall in love with someone online, from halfway round the world, long before meeting face-to-face for the first time.
I married her. :-)
