    dont need wings any more new generation will resemble flying saucers not that it will help birds till we develop anti grav technology

    Just make the engines very, very tiny so the birds won't fit...lol

    some old turbo props were designerd that way,, known as/ called 'pushers'

    That doesn't really make sense as the way the engine faces defines the front of the plane... if you turned them around (if it would even fly) then the back of the plane would become the front... birds are always going to get sucked into the air intake.
    You would need a different type of propulsion system.
