Is it possible to surface pierce acros your ribs or collar bone with out it rejecting?

Most surface piercings have a high rejection rate. Not saying it'd be impossible, but if its an area that moves a lot, I wouldn't chance it. I've heard folks suggest dermal anchors/microdermals instead of surface bars anyway, but I don't know that they'd necessarily be any better for the area you inquired about. I'd suggest going and asking a pro piercer. :)

Do it with a belly bar. The chances are less likely.
Piercers probably won't agree with this in a professional sense. But ex, a piercer, did it heaps.
Across nose bridges, collar bones, necks, etc.
