ok i might be young, but i still dont think its necessary for a woman to get married. my mother never got mariied with my father and now she is a single mother of 3. shes very independent. also my brother and his girlfriend arent married yet they have a wonderful familly and relationship. besides woman dont need a ring around their finger to tell them that their partner loves them.

i'm really not into the whole "marriage" thing. i personally think it's a waste of time and all the money you're going to spend getting divorced.

i dont think its nessesary at all, its a great thing, but you can still be in a relationship with someone and be just as happy married or not, isnt the happiness and love you have for eachother what really matters anyway? :)

It isn't necessary for a man or woman to get married, unless that is what they want. You don't have to be married because of children either. Children need loving, emotionally 'there' parents to grow up well adjusted. Being married doesn't guarantee this.

I would say Yes if the woman is having children because it is in the best interest of children to have married parents

Nope Marriage is a religous ceramony to bind a man and a woman together for life, yes I know many people break that part, that is what it is intended for. I never understood why people who are not religious got married in the first place.

Not necessary....it's not a requirement....

However, your belief system might dictate otherwise....I don't believe in living together, without being married....If you are like that, then, yes, it would be necessary, for you to feel right....

How do you feel about it? That's what's important.

When a woman marries she is legally becoming the property of a man and what's hers becomes his and it's a trap. The dynamics change when you give up who you are. Don't ever get married!!! The law allowed a man to stop tube feedings for his wife who'd been in a semi coma for 10 years over her parents objections. They wanted her to live. The judge said she was his wife and it was his decision. He had a woman on the side and two children with the woman and wanted to marry her so he had his wife starved to death. It took 6 days for her to die. DON'T EVR GET MARRIED!!!!
