Is it really that hard to fathom the idea of sea monsters, hellhounds, Bigfoot, or witches existing on Earth?

Nope- bigfoot is an escaped alien pet, sea monsters are leftover dinosaurs, witches are real and hellhounds guard the gates of hell- what's hard to fathom bout that? only small, closed minds can't think deep enough

Of course not, we have very active imaginations. Fossils indicate their were much larger primates at one time. It's doubtful any are alive and hidden somewhere. Their used to be sea dwelling creatures that certainly fit the bill of a monster and it's not likely any are left either. And if either of the above were, they'd just be another animal. Now, Hellhounds and witches are pure fantasy.

Not sure about those specifically but I think we'd be ignorant if we thought there aren't things that tales and myths depict....I think its kinda cool to think there are....mind you I wouldn't want to run into any of 'em...lol

Sea monster aren't difficult to believe in. The ocean is a huge place...who knows whats down there. If a Bigfoot doesn't want to be caught then how do you catch something that big without taking a chance and shooting one and hope it isn't a guy in a suit.....witches are real...my ex is one lol

It is not hard to fathom. There are all kinds of sea life we know little or nothing about, so that would depend on what kind you are speaking of, because some are simply biologically impossible. There is scant evidence of either hell hounds or Bigfoot so they are rather hard to believe in, as you should well know. Witches do exist, I have met a number of Wiccans, as to their supposed abilities, I have seen no direct evidence of efficacy.

Ah, you mean magic. Magic is not hard to fathom at all, it remains a mainstay in popular fantasy. So do many of the other things you speak of. They are NOT hard to fathom, they are hard to believe in. Why? People do not tend to believe in things they have no good reason to.Like (1)

Nah, people wear costumes on Halloween and get hand outs of candy., for being just that in appearance.

No, it's not hard to fathom those creatures described in question. Just because there is no scientific evidence of any of their existing on the Earth, that's no reason not to fathom their existence.
