Haha, that's very altruistic of you. I dig this question.
It's a big industry that would definitely suffer from world peace. But I'm sure those resourceful manufacturers could find plenty of other ways to benefit from the misfortune of others.. Plenty of ways.

Unemployed people can be retrained for other jobs and the benefit of achieving world peace is well worth whatever the economic cost would be. The same for eliminating poverty by redistributing wealth. Here, the end almost justifies whatever means are necessary.

Even if we achieve peace we must still be prepared for war. There will always be work for soldiers and arms dealers.
