    i've heard that, but i don't know if it's true...my mother has a lot more hair than i do...

    No I don't think its true to be honest I believe it comes from both sides of the genes mother/father not just one.

    That is the theory, but my experience it is opposite. My mom's dad was bald. Her brother is bald. His son (my cousin) is younger than me and bald. I have a full head of hair, like my dad, same with my older brother. So in my family it appears my dad's antibaldness gene prevailed.
