Funny, she goes out of her way to get it, why would it be unfair?
Frankly, I think its unfair that we have to keep seeing her on TV.

She needs to undergo psychotherapy so that she knows herself better and realises what a fool she has been

Her thoughtless comments have shown what can happen when someone of influence speaks without a thought for consequences.
Imagine if she was in the Whitehouse and spoke about Russia, China or North Korea in that manner.

Yes. But I do think it's reasonable for her to be under whatever kind of scrutiny is appropriate for somebody who's dumb enough to put cross-hairs next to a person's name.

No... it is too bad that she has to learn the consequence of her words and actions at someone else's expense.

I think that she should absolutely be taking heat for this incident. When you use violence based metaphors and rhetoric, you deserve to be questioned. Whether or not she inspired this specific person, she has contributed to idea that political violence is acceptable.

Hi julenedellamor
It is unfair that people have been killed by a man who listened to her and right wing hate filled rhetoric.
People all around The World and in the USA wonder about the sanity of your Political Society. I do. Clever people play with fire with their words and imagery and must be put under political scrutiny. President Palin is an oxymoron.

Oh, she loves the adoration she is given..but, she doesn't get paid for this one.
she is not responsible for the shootings, but, her vile words should be kept under her lips..
Which I would personally seal with super glue..
words can hurt, and offer encouragement to loose minds.
Hers isn't wrapped too tightly anyways..

She's a self-proclaimed "politician" and she makes it a point to use every available platform at her disposal. Resulting, why should she be immune to scrutiny? Also, she's a huge idiot whose only agenda should be learning how to read a book (or map, as she's infamously proved she couldn't).

No. She is in the public eye therefore she should have no problem with being scrutinized. She may not have directly influenced the attack but her violent remarks have no place in our society. When you use aggressive words not once or twice but nearly constantly you should not be surprised if someone takes your words to heart. If you say that the time has come to "take up arms" against a person or ideology you shouldn't be shocked when someone takes a gun and kills someone.
se through anger Almost a YEAR AGO. When he realized that people don't always respond well to anger he shifted his rhetoric. He deviated from his populist and hopeful message and got slammed for it. Republicans use violent or aggressive imagery often in their speeches, Obama did it once or twice and dropped the idea because it was counter-productive.
I think it's worth noting that all the Barack Obama quotes people are throwing around were all said once and were his failed attempt at firing up the ba

Yes....it is unfair.....i mean look at all the things that Obama has done already that has made this country angry? the only reason y she is under political scutiny is that the media like CNN, MSNBC, and other minor stations is loaded with liberals who quite frankly are on the cooky side of things....Conservitives r going to fix the country...not Obama.....Conservitives r going to change back that healthcare bill cause Obama destroyed the system with that...need i say more..i think i have said my fair share.

No.
Is it unfair if Obama is under political scrutiny for making references to using violence? I don't know if the quotes below are true, but I also don't know if everything about Palin is true.
“They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”
To His Followers: “Get in Their Faces!”
On ACORN Mobs: “I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!”
To His Mercenary Army: “Hit Back Twice As Hard”
About the private sector: “We talk to these folks… so I know whose *** to kick."
To voters: Republican victory would mean “hand to hand combat”
To lib supporters: “It’s time to Fight for it.”
To Latino supporters: “Punish your enemies.”
** Obama to democrats: “I’m itching for a fight.”.
