He is legally an adult and so are you (I assume you are asking about yourself). So, it isn't wrong per se. However, you are both in very different places in life and I highly doubt the maturity level and life experiences will be very compatible in the long run. If it is just a fling...then fine, but if you want long term committment...I wouldn't count on it lasting.

Enjoy it as much as you can, as long as it lasts. Reality is, you are in very different places in life, and it's unlikely to last.

Meanwhile, you will benefit from his energy, virility, and mold-ability; he will benefit from your confidence and the things you can teach him. Have fun!

Well my friend is a song writer. She wrote a song called 40 winks.

It's about her relationship with a 23 year old and she is 41.

Her point was he could never catch up with her........

It isn't wrong but there are lots of complications over time.

I wBut I know people who are married and happy with the wife 18 years older than the husband. I know people with a 20 year gap who lasted for 10 years then split.

Is complicated just like all relationships, is prob based on need and want and if you can love each other and do a good relationship then that's your call.....

I can't say it's wrong. I don't think it's a good idea. Is there a future or just a romance? If it doesn't work out ..how will this teen ager feel? How will his parents feel? Families do get involved and that can hurt everyone and everything.

There is no "wrong" about such a relationship except for anyone who has assorted fantasies and fears about age differences. Unfortunately because human sexuality in its present state is going through a growth cycle while people attempt to sort out their ****** fantasies, the participants will likely encounter much in the way of public disapproval. 40 years ago, this same public mentality would shoot someone down for marrying interracialy, because of their leftover bigotry. Today's it's age, because of their hatred and envy for youth. Tomorrow it will be because someone has a mole on their @ss but the other person is missing a tooth.

A proper response to such a neurotic public is to avoid them, as if they had a contagious disease, and just move on with the business of having the functional, happy relationship that they are too fearful and age-prejudiced to have. It doesn't matter which sex is which, or any other such silliness that seems more important to people than treating each other with love and respect.

No, nothing "wrong" really....but (like my ex, who left for a man 19 years her junior...and broke up with him 2 years later), don't be surprised or annoyed with him (as she eventually became) when you come home from work and find him playing XBox or Playstation games. Kids tend to do that.

Other than the generational differences, I suppose it's possible that a couple could find happiness...for a while, anyway.
