Is it wrong of me to ask my friends and family NOT to worry about me at all?

The reason i dont want them to is for 3 reasons.

1. It makes me uncomfortable
2. I dont want to be an emotional burden on them
3. I feel like i dont deserve it

No - not wrong - but possibly 'misguided' - family will inevitably worry - if they care, or are convinced they care.

Not wrong, just unrealistic. They can't help worrying, and will continue to do so.
You feel uncomfortable because you feel unworthy.
Caring about someone they love is not a burden.
You are worthy of love, believe it.

Well, you could start by believing that they do.

not wrong to ask but isn`t it nice to have people who care?.......someday you might wish you hadn`t pushed them away. ;-)

yeah it kinda is,ive felt the same way plenty of times, but there is no feeling worse than wakeing up one day and realizing that you pushed the people that loved you away...possibly forever,be thankful for the people who care about you, some of us arent that lucky.

Even if you did. They will always worry
    They worry because they care.
I told my parents that, it's kinda impossible for them to do so. It's a parenting thing.
I told that to my boyfriend. He saids won't but I know he does.
But no it's not wrong. It's life.

You can ask them even tell them not to worry about you but true friends and good family will always do so.

You can ask. Doesn't mean they will.

    hello, NDR1987,

    my instant, felt response,

....................................... is that you are trying to control them

and i wonder what makes you need to do that?

we cannot control other people's feelings and responses to us

    but we can affect them

    .............................. by changing our behaviour.

    with my respect, from robbie
