Resolved Question

I have definitely experienced this before. let me tell you it gets worse before it gets better, at least for me. i was so jealous i could barley hang out with her and other people because all there attention went to her. my best advise would be to just ride it out unless you have an extremely communicative open relationship. lucky for me we did. i simply told her one night as we were alone that i was having problems with her and it was me that was jealous and it was so hard for me to even hang out with her and others. we talked a lot and realized that she was upset with me for always hanging in the background and so she made up by being more social, which obviously did not help the problem. we talked and talked and came to a compromise that we would both work on it! i think your best bet would be to see the friend in a new way try to stop obsessing on the things that make you envious about them and then let it dissolve, because it will, or else it might blow up and that never helps anyone. hope this helped at all, if you need to talk im all ears!!!
