There are those who say it is. It's a big subject which covers many different topics to get a handle on how people get to where they are in believing that it is. ba<x>sed on perception of the mind, all the senses and the Soul is how people get to where they are in considering life; taking it much deeper than this is to consider life is an illusion ba<x>sed on our perception of the senses.
Is life an illusion? A bit too deep for me and something I haven't delved too deeply into because it takes the brain of a Scientists and mathematician to even begin to unravel the topic
if it is, it's a real enough illusion to satisfy me.
We are spirits having a human experience. We are here to know who we are and then ultimately to BE who we are in this physical form. On some deep level we do know this is an illusion but we need to believe it's real in order to do the above. If you really believed it wasn't real you wouldn't or could'nt do it. One way of looking at it: if you rode a roller coaster with absolute knowledge you could not get hurt would you enjoy it or get anything out of it?
Not so much illusion as transitory. Pain hurts, yet passes.
illusion - n- an unreal image seemingly presented to the senses. i dont know about you but i can actually feel how soft my bed is, i can see the colors of the visible spectrum, i can taste the flavors of my food. if my senses actually sense things they must be real and therefore not an illusion
I think the illusions are in the minds of man. i believe the planet and wildlife are a reality. people can be very much fictions, even to themselves.
Ok...good question.
To the extent that you want life to be an illusion....so it will be.
This is because at a very deep but real level what your reality is.....is created by you.
You are the creator of your life.
The problem is.....religion and education have beaten this truth from you.
Because if you knew yourself as the creator.......what need would you have for churches?
or govenment?......And those who believe they have power...never want to give it up.
I believe that what we perceive as physical reality or life as well as death are only different levels of consciousness. I do not not believe that death is the end of our consciousness, but a door to a different level or plane, of all religions oddly only the buddhist and the Hindus come full circle with physics .
has anyone seen the film Waking Life? it is on UTube, for free it will really make you think.....
Yes, it goes like this.
If there is what's real and what we can emagine.
We can never know what is emagined.
We can only assume things to be, and that which you assume however likely isn't absolutely true, and therefore still not true.
So nothing is actually real, unless everything is and you can't emagine that things aren't. :D
No, illusion is life !
I think we make up illusions to live by because the reality is so harsh
