To a certain extent ,YES,at least romantic Love is. Lover is a Decision as far as a Mate Goes.You "Decide" you Love this Person and are not going to keep looking for someone else. If that person changes,becomes something other than the person you Decided to Love then yes You can NOT love them. Love of a child is different ,I will Love my children regardless of what they become, I may not be Proud of them,but will always love them. :)
