Yes, love plays with your heart strings. Because as you may love him/her, they may not love you back. Everyone has that person that they love that doesn't seem to love them. Now when you find true love it can still hurt. Every love story has there ups and downs. The reason being is that life isn't perfect. Your not suppose to go through on an easy road...If it was that easy that you could slide straight down the road then what lesson would be taught? Love has it's rough moments but all in all it should always pull you closer to that person...When it gets to where it hurts, thats when you should realize either how much you truly love them or if it wasn't even really love just lust.

Love itself doesn't hurt, its when we add our mix into it what makes love seem painful

    yes and no.

Honestly I think it should hurt a little bit, or you don't care enough.

I had a relationship in my 20's where I was crying/upset every day and very dramatic fighting happened all of the time. That love hurt way too much.

Then I was married later in my 20's and there was never any "pain", but also very little true love or passion. We were more like good friends or partners and got along well.

Now I'm in a relationship where we are TRULY in love with each other and 90% of the time everything is wonderful but 10% of the time we're in horrible emotional pain and our arguments turn into both of us crying until we're practically ill. It hurts. But I think for me that's how real love should be...very deep feelings, so deep it sometimes hurts!

    Just my two cents!
