    No, it really isn't. Not like most people stay true to it anyways! So yah, WHY EVEN GET MARRIED? Hell, it was never necessary.

    Only if you're a woman planning on divorce. Literally the only thing is does is establish a legal basis for women to take half the man's property and wealth in the event of a break up.
