Is my hand infected?

I had a blister on my hand, it popped, and I was using the hand a lot for work. There is a large sore on my hand now, and the area around it is swollen and basically the whole hand really hurts. Does this mean that I have some sort of infection?

red, swollen.. hot... =INFECTION!!!!
if your whole hand hurts, you should go to doctor.. ok?
