I can't name a more important one off the top of my head, but I'm going to say no since it didn't get to the root causes of America's healthcare problems. If the costs weren't spiraling out of control, more people and businesses would still have insurance available without making it madatory.

Absolutely. He had the vision and foresight to know that being sick is hard enough-you shouldn't have to go broke on top of it. We have a consumer driven economy, but the consumers have to be able to afford to consume.

I'm not in agreement with Obamacare on a few different issues; however, the penalty for 2014 for not going along with it will cost taxpayers around 285. In 2015, the penalty increases for close to $1,000.00, and that can be deducted from your taxes automatically if you do not comply.

Medicare, Voting Rights Act, Civil Rights Act all are more important. The health care act is important though and eventually will be regarded as such by a public that has allowed itself to be swayed by misrepresentation.

That is correct. I was in high school when the Voting Rights and Civil Rights Acts were enacted and in college when Medicare was passed. I still regard them as more important than the Health Care Act.Like (1)
