Is Rep. Steny Hoyer being judgmental? I thought only Republicans and the Tea Party are judgmental. See below.
He said, "There are a whole lot of people in the Tea Party that I see in these polls who don’t want any compromise. My presumption is they have unhappy families."

Absolutely,he is another misguided politician who is nothing more than a lame name caller. The Tea party is composed of 70% college educated people.
Am I correct in presuming that he is a died in the wool socialist just because he's voted for cap and trade and Obamacare? The political unrest created by the politicians in this country has nothing to do with family and everything to do with unhappy voters who are disgusted with Washington and Congress' grab for our freedoms.
I'm not a Tea Party member because I believe the tea party was hyjacked by the Republican party. I am a registered Democrat and if there any doubt about Mr. Hoyer's voting record go to: www.House.gov.

Presumption is is assumption with confidence.
Judgment is a formal decision.
Two different things. Why are you changing his words?

Good job defending him, though. I wish more people had your insight.
