Any death is to be mourned, I think. But Hugo Chavez's legacy has both good as well as bad sides. From the socialistic point of view, the people of Venezuela will consider this a huge loss.

He was a character. His policies helped some people in Venezuela. He was not a democratic leader. He did little to actually hurt the United States. His successor seems unlikely to change his policies. I neither mourn nor celebrate his passing. I merely note it.

Hugo Chavez wasn't really that much of a bad guy. He just had different philosophies. I think the death of everyone is reason to mourn by someone.

True. Every death is a loss to someone. I think what I'm trying to find out is whether he was a "bad" guy or a good guy.

It´s the death of a dictator.

I say the world is much better off without one.

Way too soon to tell. Besides its not about us, it's about the citizens of the affected countries. Was the omission of Saddam intentional?
