No.... Go with a dyson
I would got rid of mine and got a dyson.... I just have a carpet cleaner
I used to sell them as a kid....That how much they are now? Sheesh!
I will say they are the best but two grand? Whoa!
Kirby spends a lot of money on sales and marketing, not on research and development. Dyson spends quite a bit on research which leads to a better vacuum, and certain models of Eureka! vacuums outperform even Dyson.
Check out GoodHousekeeping and Consumer Reports for their ratings on vacuums. Some of the better models are under $200.
We bought an expensive vacuum, and to be honest... I don't think any vacuum is worth that price tag unless it gives massages as well :)
Our vacuum is really quiet and has a HEPA filter, but considering how little it's used and the fact that most vacuums do pretty much the same thing... just get a MOTR one with good reviews.
