Totally brought up this same thought on here a while back.
A question without a true answer for me to understand. I also wonder about all of the colors we can't see at all.
Our eyes see only a limited band of wavelengths. This is just as well, because if we could see other wavelengths we would be able to see the signals coming into our mobile phones, televisions and computers and these would turn our world into a jumbled mess.

No one has ever fathomed this one out. Everything that we see is an image produced by our brain. Only if the part of the brain that produces that image could be transplanted into another person, would we ever know. At the moment this is well outside the capability of medical science.
Well the ob<x>ject reflects the colour that it actually is, and that's what we see, so we see the real colour only. :)
