I think the only way the wall can be broken down is when you die, at least that is what I think!

I hope not. Otherwise we would have an even more serious overpopulation problem.

The barrier is the moment of death. Until that moment comes, you live. After it has been, you're dead. What you step into is determined by what IS wether you believe in it or not, so the barrier is not, for me, the greatest concern, but what lies beyond and hence, what lies on this side. The moment is just a veil, lifting.. so we see the face of what's on the other side. To chose not to try to find out what is there is also a choice. But the barrier, is just a moment.

No.

Even if we do overcome things like starvation, disease, and disaster, overpopulation and an environment that we humans render increasingly unfit for living will eventually be the end of us.

Unless, I suppose, we move onto another planet and consume that one as well, in which case our species would have become like cancer: surviving by moving from place to place, consuming all resources, not for the sake of survival, but for the sake of luxury and what is thought to be a well-lived, satisfactorily-led life.

Death is a physical change in the body. Eventually we will learn how to treat it the way we would any other disease.

I think the two are inseparably linked - you cannot have death without life - you cannot have life without death.
there is no wall - merely two sides of the same coin.
all things must have an end - so that there may be a new beginning - we may be able to treat diseases - but we shall never conquer death - nor would I want to.

then there is the vail between this side and the next - and yes should that break down - we might have slight over population. :)

Like the tumbling of the walls of Jericho? Life is like being on a voyage where we cannot see who is steering the vessel.

To my knowledge (based on experience; I am psychic) there are two planes at the spiritual level but not as envisaged by the religious. The first level is where all psychic communication occurs so in this sense the barrier is constantly breached but why and for what purpose it is not easy to determine.

This first level is like a threshold guardian designed possibly to protect the higher level. It seems that we may have a spiritual family waiting for us at this level, a family unconnected to our secular family. When we pass over and join those others then as a group we move to the higher plane. Okay, I am speculating but this is what my guess is.

My late wife of 45 years of togetherness passed over almost 11 years ago from BC; a devastating experience. Eight weeks to the day but not the hour I had a clairvoyant experience when she returned to me by voice and this was what was said, "I have come to say good bye. I have to move on. Louise (our granddaughter of 16 who passed away from an epileptic fit 22 months prior) has already moved on. Your friends (this is what we called this spiritual family) who have always looked after you will continue to do so."

There is no point in elaborating further on this experience except possibly to say that her voice was as clear and distinct as if she was standing next to me, which spiritually she probably was. Unfortunately, as the experience cannot be replicated the boffins decline to accept its reality. This confirmed for me my developing beliefs.

Five years later my 45 year old daughter passed away with cancer. She too returned but in a more subtle manner 2 years after her passing. What she wanted was my forgiveness as it was possible that her death could have been avoided had she taken heed of my advice. I find it interesting that she felt my forgiveness of her to be necessary. On forgiving her I felt her happiness (an external sensation) after which she probably moved on as she has never again returned.

Why do some of us get partial information but never the complete story, I do not know and why don't others have the same or similar experiences, I have no idea. I should add that I am anti-religious, and regard religious dogma as a method of stunting our spiritual growth. We cannot move forward spiritually while encapsulated in institutionalised thought processes.

Will we ever breach the great divide? I doubt it while the great religions of society maintain their iron grip on the intellect of the masses.

yes, it happens every 700,000,000 years, cause the planet moves back and forth when it gets to a certain point after a certain amount of years. and creates a sort of crack in the earth u cant see it but all the little molecules move around and mix and it has a tiny hole like a scratvche on a wall but nothing could fit through.
