YES! The Holy Spirit is God in control; magic, used by any of us, is us thinking we are in control. Think of Bob Dylan's line in his song, "When you Gonna Wake Up," You think He's [God] just an errand boy, to satisfy your wandering desires? Magic is used for humans to accomplish their desires, not God's desires.

Holy Spirit is a person, though, not a thing, like magic. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, then God can use you; it is not "you," using God. Magic doesn't come from the forces of nature. Magic is really witchcraft. I don't mean of course, pretend magic, like a coin trick or an illusionist (although my sister-in-law is convinced David Copperfield does his magic with the help of the devil....) There is a spirit realm, but the Holy Spirit is not in the same place as demons. There are some things people should not dabble in, nor open their own spirits to; Charles Manson comes to mind. Nor should we have anything to do with animal sacrifices. There are things sort of like portals, or entrances. Some of our stories have some truth to them. "Vampires," (or don't you believe there are ways for your life to be sucked from you?) for instance, do have to be invited. I digress, but I hope you understand what I mean.Like (1)

Magic is an illusion or misunderstood for technology never created or seen before. Holyiness does with the happiness, peace, and love of an individual.

I believe its a possibility that either is an illusion all magic is answered through science and logic and all tricks were uncovered. For the saying of holy spirit is unknown it can be true or it CAN be an illusion people make in their mind of a supernatural being of light protecting them from danger. We dont know these things as fact all we have is theorys, hopefully in time we will find the truth of all these questions peope including me have to ask.Like (1)

very close to true magic as you can get although the word Holy tends to supersede any other but still pretty magical if you ask me

one man's miracle is another man's magic... if you take any miracle from the new testament performed by or through the holy spirit and told the same story in a different setting with different people, most people would see it as magic.
In my opinion intentions are much more important than semantic distinctions
