Is there a friendship between boys and girls?

Usually, no. A guy never truly wants to be my friend. They all secretly want to sleep with me and when they find out they can't they are long gone. I do have one guy who is like my best friend however ... but I think initially he wanted to sleep with me too.

I have always had the same experience as sara3sara, anytime a guy befriends me it always ends the same way. I'll say "Sorry i not interested in you that way"! And he'll say " Ok then, laters". Doesn't do a lot for your self confidence i can tell you.

yes,absolutely.its the law of nature that there is some sexual attraction definitely between the boy and the girl.In majority,it starts from the boy,eventually it's in the girls hand to stop and draw the line to prevent the FriendShip turning into a RelationShip.

Yeah, it's definitely possible.. but it depends on the person. Some people can't help but seeing the opposite sex in just one way, I think. It might be a maturity thing.

There can be for a while but as the two get closer nature takes over. I do'nt understand girls who want to have a male best friend(both being heterosexual of course) but don't want to attempt a sexual relationship with that person. Everyone says it will ruin the friendship, But I think desiring your friend and never being able to act upon it will equally destroy the friendship.

You know I never thought so growing up and then in college I met one of the most down to earth and 'cool' people I'd ever met in my life. She was a year older than me and while she was attractive physically for some reason we never really 'hit it off' that way. We were partnered up in an advanced Chemistry course (non-Organic Chem. 411) during my Sophomore year. By the end of the semester we were as close of friends as I'd ever had or have had since. After she graduated she moved to the East Coast and while we tried to stay in touch after 5 years of so she got married and our relationship just kind of 'faded out', but man did we have some really great times just sitting around shooting the breeze on the porch swing at her Sorority house drinking Sangria (it was just the 'in drink' that summer for her Sorority). I will say that I think a true friendship between male and female of approximately the same age during your 'sexually aware' years is FAR more rare than 'true love'.
