Is there a "hot"line to call just to talk?

There are suicide hotlines. Hotlines for gay support, for abuse support, substance abuse, and a million other things and these are all such worthy causes but...

What if you just need to talk? What happens when a normal person feels overwhelmed and stress. Scared. Alone. Fried. Angry. Frustrated. And just needs to tell someone.

Why doesn't a hotline exist for that? Or do we have to wait until we've taken a turn for the worst to get any help?

Well, you can talk to someone on here. I mean, it is not "talking" but it is better than stewing in a cloud of whatever has you down or pissed.

The suicide hotlines aren't there JUST for people who are suicidal. I know, I volunteered on one for 10 years.If you feel a need to talk to just talk with somebody, let me know. I'm willing as long as we set some ground rules.

there should be.but i dont think there are.ill start one at my house,instead of going to school everyday i can stay home and talk to people about random things to make them feel better. :) sounds like a nice job.
